Adventure Events in Anglesea

I AM outdoor events, all year long. Anglesea’s calendar brims with Adventure events for all ages and abilities.  Here are a few of our faves …

Cadel Evans Road Race – January

Inspired by the prestigious “Spring Classics” of Europe, the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race showcases a weekend of the world’s best cycling, delivering nail-biting moments and intense competition. The People’s Ride gives you the chance to ride alongside the world’s greatest cyclists.

Kids Adventure Outdoors – April

KAOS is what Anglesea is all about — kids experiencing the outdoors and trying new activities. Developed by the Anglesea community to encourage Kids away from screens and into the great outdoors, KAOS is an exhilarating adventure “taster” for primary school aged children. Muster the young-ins and come along.

Adventurethon Anglesea – April

Adventurethon is a paddle, mountain bike and trail run event — not for the faint-heartedA number of different formats let you combo up your own adventure!

Surf Coast Century – September

Pull on your runners! The Surf Coast Century is an endurance off-road running event either 50km or 100km in distance, taking runners on an incredible journey beneath towering sea cliffs, along remote beaches and through the captivating wildflower hinterland on twisting single track.

Roo Run – December

Whether you’re a seasoned campaigner, a weekend jogger, social walker or just starting out your running career, the Roo Run and Grommet Gallop offers something for everyone. The Surf n Turf event combos up Roo Run with the Anglesea SLSC Rock2ramp.

Rock2Ramp – December

The Anglesea SLSC Rock2Ramp Ocean Swim happens at Point Roadknight beach in late December each year. Grab your cap and goggles and choose from a 1.2km swim, 2.5km swim or Kids’ Dash.
