Adrian from the Anglesea Paddle Boat and Canoe Hire is never far from the Anglesea River.
When he’s not outside, soaking up the coast’s beach and rivers, he’s with friends at the local pub, or enjoying a takeaway bite whilst watching the sunset.
Because he’s a local, we just knew Adrian would have some great local secrets to share in our Q&A:
1. Best spot for eating takeaway?
The lookout off Harvey Street.
2. Best view for sunrise or sunset?
Cliff tops between Anglesea and Aireys Inlet.
3. Best place to clear your head?
A canoe ride on the Anglesea River, or a bike ride round Coogoorah Park.
4. How do you have fun?
Go for dinner with a group of friends at the Anglesea Hotel.
5. Summer secret?
A night swim in the Anglesea River.
6. A tip for winter?
Always bring a jumper when visiting the coast!
7. The town’s best kept secret?
The Anglesea Historical Society in McMillan Street. It’s full of great interesting artefacts and information from the town’s past.
