If you want to get up close and personal to native Australian wildlife the Anglesea Golf Club conducts guided kangaroo tours daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Clubhouse open 7 days a week, Bar and Bistro open daily 10.00am til late.
Whales migrate along the South Western Victorian coastline between May and September. Keep your eyes peeled and sign up to the Great Ocean Road Whale Mail to log sightings and receive alerts when whales are spotted along the coast
Don’t forget to look up! More than 100 species of native birds thrive here including Crimson Rosellas, Bronzewing pigeons and a variety of Honeyeaters. Watch for a majestic King Parrot swooping through the forest valley. After dark, keep your eyes and ears open for possums and gliders.
